under the old system one could preload the information for an upload and be ready at midnight to upload and go to bed or where ever. now that that is not possible as it keeps you out before you can get your feet wet. is there a possiblity that you could ask the powers to be that it be changed back to the old way please?

Sorry, may be missing something here, but why do you have to wait until midnight to upload your image?  You can still only upload one a day.

I think what he means is that he used to be able upload an image now, and then before midnight rolls around, he used to be able to enter in all the info on another upload, then just  wait and hit upload at exactly 12 midnight.

Right now, once you upload, the system will not let you enter in anything early..you must wait until midnight or at least 1 minute after

but it's still limited to one upload a day right?  I don't really see the problem in waiting until later in the day and uploading at a reasonable hour.  Maybe I just like my sleep too much.

Yes, its still one upload per day...and I get what you are saying about why wait until midnight to upload.....why not 7 pm to 7pm right? {and I hear ya about the sleep, I love my sleep when I get the chance to have any LOL}

I dont know however if this is the case..if it goes on a 24 hr basis or not....? Good question..

I think its one a day based on after midnight not a 24 hours. I'm not 100% on that but I beleive this is the way it works

I see what he's doing.  Upload at 11:59pm and then 12:01am, but then you have to wait until 12:01 the next night before you can upload again, unless you skip a day (almost) in which case you can wait until 11:59 and then 12:01 again.   It all evens out in the wash.    I seem to remember that it's set to Rosity time and so if you're in somewhere more civilized (England for example:-), you can do this trick 5 or 6 hours earlier.

when I am not working I post my art at 12:00midnight so friends in other time zones may see while they are home or where ever they surf Renderosity. I also browse for new uploads also.  I tried to be first on 1-1-2006 but the system belched and erased my upload and I started over. that is when I started making notepads before so I do not have to retype everything. I ended up being #6 in 2206. I tried to have the upload ready so at 12 so  I could hit the upload. I could preview my crummy typing for errors.. actually during the change over the system allowed me to upload 3 of the same image and I deleted 2

Ok, now Im lost......??

#6 to  post after midnight as versus #1 on 1-1-2006. I was trying to have the first image posted of the year 2006.

Oh ok, I see now...still you will have to wait until at 'least' 12:01{possibly a few seconds after midnight}  to be able to post another image. I dont know if the current system will allow you to 'preload' anything however..such as title, and content tags etc. {which is what I am assuming you are talking about typing stuff in?}
