What is the serial number for the Carrara 5.1 demo?

Ummmm, unless I'm mistaken, I don't think there is a serial number for the demo. Buying Carrara should give you the serial number you unlock it with, however. If the demo has expired, I believe buying a serial number is the only option.

I don't know about the 5.1 demo but I was given a demo serial number for the C4 Pro demo way back when.  The Hexagon demos even required a serial number.  Both were emailed to me right after I downloaded the files.

If you downloaded the demo from DAZ, then that means they still aren't setup to issue demo keys.

If you download the demo from Eovia's site (you'll need to register to do so), you should get a 30 day demo key via email.

The only alternative is to buy from DAZ and use their 30 day money back guarentee if you find you don't like it.

DAZ is very much set up to issue keys, I just don't think they have the demo. And when you create an account at Eovia and get the Carrara Demo, you are sent a demo key.

I downloaded the demo this morning from Daz3d. The demo asks for the serial number. I'll registered with Enovia 2 days ago but the process to get the Carrara 5.1 demo lead me to a strange data error page so I thought maybe Enovia wasn't giving out the demos anymore.

hmm.. have you tried, since you have an account, clicking on my serial numbers under my account?

I found nothing under "my account" about serial numbers. I called Daz3d and the lady told me to write them an email about the issue. Not too helpful. So I'm waiting for an email from Daz or someone will come up with the answer in this thread.

I got the serial number from Eovia. I joined again then downloaded the demo and Eovia sent me the magic number:

CD50CRZ-0121205-ASB<br></br>That be the number from Eovia and it opened up the one I downloaded from Daz3d.<br></br><br></br>Carrara is the newest member of the Daz3d family and probably not everything together yet.<br></br><br></br>Time to go see whats new.

Hi folks, Just to be safe, I called DAZ to confirm that the serial number listed above is a universal number for the Carrara demo. It is universal and CAN be used by anyone that has downloaded the C5 demo. As a rule, posting serial numbers is not a good thing - but in this case is ok. I just wanted to make sure no one was going to get spanked by accident. ;-) Mark

I had a feeling it would be OK. I wonder why, when I called, the lady didn't give me the serial number? Oh well, I'm not worrying, I'm happy.

I'm surprised that they haven't updated the demo's ZIP file to included it.
The time spent answering one phone call would be enough.

Thanks a lot to notefinger for the serial number. I downloaded C5 saturday, and even I mailed to receive it they didn't answer. The soft seems to be great, but I really ask about the support.
