Thanks Unicornst. I'm not sure what else we can do but I'll pass this on. Its just so weird because I used for different accounts with all different email providers and four favorite artists and got every single thing like i should have. Very weird. I'll let you know.

Is "Call to Arms" one that dayna2 posted that you should have received an email for? If so, please send me an IM with your email address and I will look at the logs to see what it says. Thanks, N

unicornst, According to our logs, at 6:56:57 p.m. today our software successfully sent an ebot notifcation to: unicornst@[domain hidden for privacy].net To notify you that dayna2 uploaded an image named "Call to Arms." I cannot give you any more information than that. Once the application has logged it as successfully sent, that's it. It's out of our hands by this point. N

That's weird.

I understand that once it is sent, it's out of your hands. But what I don't understand is why it isn't completed. Even more, why I would get some and not others. I did receive two today for two different artists here. They made it successfully.

Just a suggestion here, and I will admit I do not know any more about how this works than blow joe down the road, but could it have something to do with the particular artist's account? I ask because my roommate also has Dayna on her list and she didn't receive the notice about the image either. Which makes it even stranger.

Next question is...would going through the list and deleting and then readding help matters any? I shudder at the thought of everyone having to do that, but if it gets it working through end delivery......

No, if it's getting logged as being sent, there's nothing wrong with your settings or the artists's account. If it's getting logged as being sent, any failure beyond that point is an email failure, not a setting or software failure. N

Then may I ask why so many people are missing ebots? And why is that I never missed one single ebot before the conversion? Neither did anyone else.

I understand that your system is saying it was sent. I understand you believe your system. But the fact is that many people here on different email accounts are all saying they are missing ebots.

No, I am not a programmer. But I do know that something is still wrong somewhere. I'm not an auto mechanic either, but I know when my car is making a strange sound and needs to be looked. Take a look at the comments in the galleries. Just about every image I have looked at tonight mentions this problem.

I can't seem to find any notification controls on the favorite artists under manage my homepage. They all seem to be there though. Just wondering if I am looking in the right place?

Ok I found the notification stuff on the my options under the art gallery. The fav artyists off of the manage my homepage don't seem to have that.

well, now I'm not getting private message ebots either. Just realized I had a PM here from someone, and no message about it.

Wow...my own thread and one of my replies stating that I'm not getting the ebots gets deleted...nice.

I'm STILL not getting ebots...in fact, I'm not getting ebots of any kind now.  I got a double ebot about a new product in the middle of the afternoon, and then nothing from there on out.  I'm subscribed to at least half a dozen threads in this forum and haven't recieve any ebots about them, even though they clearly getting new replies.

The ebots DON'T work, plain and simple.

I am only getting a Favorite Artist e mail notice for about 3-4 of the 20 or so I have listed, so I went and looked on my Favorites listing and there is an option to TURN OFF NOTIFICATION... so I assume that means it is ON... but maybe it's because the list is on a different server yet??

I just had to ask...as I have been getting help with answers and CSS stuff in another forum and might even be happy here again...so hoping to help trouble shoot...

A GOOD THING is I found out one can now click any name of a commentor in the gallery or even my own name and that takes me to the gallery of that person! COOL!!

Still getting just a smattering of the ebots I should be getting... Hope it gets fixed soon.

All mine are say "Turn notifications Off" (which means notifications are on).  I have received some, but not all e-bot notifications, and no they are not in my spam filter. 

For example, I received a notification that IgnisSerpentus had posted an image on monday, but not one for Prog, who uploaded an image on the same day.  IgnisSerptenus has also uploaded two images yesterday and today, and I have NOT received any e-bots for them.
