I was trying to figure out how to help someone with wireframe renders, and stumbled on this! With the latest patch, P4 will not render over 4090X4090. To get around it, make a one frame image file animation. You can set your frame size to whatever you want. The largest I tried was 6000X6000. In the animation setup window, set the frame size and frame count. In the make movie window, set the sequence type to image file, the resolution to full, and the quality to whatever you want. If you want a wireframe or cartoon, set to display settings, and set your display settings to whatever you want.
