Yes but what isn't stated is if the software requires the service to run or just receive updates and access to the community

I am wondering about the use of the term "subscribe".  Now I am curious as to whther this is some type of Client-Server distributed computing what-not next generation application.  Hmmmm...

Oh, but I recall someone said it works even off-line.

You should check back with e frontier. You are quoting the licensing terms from "Virtual Fashion Basic" and the Virtual Fashion store, which is not where you will buy. The product you want to buy is "Virtual Fashion Basic for Poser", which is a separate product and is sold through e frontier and Content Paradise, so it could be that different licensing terms apply.

My response from e-Frontier:

Hello Matthew,

I hope that this will clear things up for you?  If not, please advise.

"The software license for Virtual Fashion Basic for Poser is a perpetual license to use this software. The software will not time out, and it will continue to be supported as long as it is offered for sale. Software updates (such as bug fixes, etc) are available free for 1 year after your original date of purchase. Additional development, new functionality offered and updates beyond one year will be available in the form of software upgrades."

Have a Great Day!
