Hi everyone... http://www.brycetech.com/stufftodelete/croctest.jpg the image is of a posable crocodile I am currently making. When done, it will either be a freebee...or a very low cost model for Poser (probably $5-$10). anyhow, I am almost ready for some beta testing... just need a few people to mess with it. It is in no way perfect...the mesh is hi-poly (due to my oversight in its creation)..this makes it very detailed, but hard to work with in some areas...(for instance, opening and closing its mouth). for those who would like to beta-test, email me at: brycetech@yahoo.com beta-testers will get the model for free when completed. I will be making MANY posable models over the next few weeks...from birds to fish to dragons to ??? this is fun :P BT

Looks really good. Good luck with it. I was just recently messing with my old RayDream Croc after seeing a PBS show about alligators. Still not sure about the difference between Crocs and Alligators...

One thing, Crocs have thinner snouts (side to side) than Alligators...

crocs like salty water type estuaries and gators like fresh muddy water? I think so..

I would be glad to help with your croc. Make a great pair of boots! It does look a bit more like a gator than a croc though.

I will remember not to get close to those snotty crocs then.. LOL

Hi Folks! Actually, the major difference between crocs and gators is that gators' heads are longer and more triangular; crocs have a shorter snout and also tend to have a larger and rounder torso than gators. In Louisiana where I grew up it's not unusual to catch one of those boogers sunning in a canal or a backyard pool, so I've seen enough of them to know what one looks like. And BTW, fried alligator is a marvelous dish--and no, it doesn't taste like chicken!!! Peter (Dr Zik)

Hi everyone The image at the top is a new render of the critter. As you can see he is kicking some major arse :P I have enuff testers for him right now..thanx for all the interest. Hopefully he will be available next week..assuming the testers dont fry me again...lol... I had to redo all the joints because of too many errors. He still has a hip problem...but shrug for a poser critter, I think he does quite nicely. thanx again BT
