You need to play with the fog settings in the Atmosphere Editor. The falloff and altitude are the things to play with. Hope this example helps you on your way.
Cheers

--------------- A life?! Cool!! Where do I download one of those?---------------
Excellent!
OK I just checked and I know what happened. I was using the volumetric model for the atmosphere, show those dials were different.

Ok I settled for a cloud plane very near the floor, a normal atmosphere with fog near the ground, and an infinite plane with water also a bit above ground.
I will post the result as soon as it finishes rendering.
Thanks again!

Thats funny I was working on the same project low ground fog, i finaly achieved what i was after

The trouble with the fog in Vue is that it is always a heavy solid mass. Real fog usually drifts in banks and this is very hard to achieve. If you use a plane or a very flat sphere you can usually see the edge of the shape much too well. One could try a terrain with a cloud texture ...
I've seen fog brushes for Photoshop in the RMP, but I don't know how easy it would be to apply them convincingly.

Surely is a dumb question, but I am using Vue in a say I am not used to. I guess it can be done with trans maps, but it that THE way, or is there another way?
I attach an image to explain myself. I want some fog in the ground. (Clicking on the thumbnail takes you to a full-size image)
Thank you for your help!
