Hi!

 

(I posted this over at Daz but noone answered so ill try it here too.)

I found this tutorial so that V3 can use V2 textures, unfortunately it requires something called "Victoria3UVs.exe".

There was a link pointing to Daz site, but is was a dead end (http://store.daz3d.com/Update/Victoria3UVs.exe).

Would be most grateful if anyone could help me with this.

I think it´s the best to drop a line to DAZ support to ask them. Most you´ll get a fast reply.

That function comes with the V3 base figure from DAZ, which is free.

Hi!

 

I have downloaded the free V3 but the installer doesnt contain any UVS-files, am i missing something here.

The one I should use is called "BlMilWom_V3_V2UVs.uvs" but i cant find it anywhere.

What you have donloaded is V3 UV mapp only. Ask DAZ, it´s really the best solution

Hi again!

 

No, the installer didnt contain any UVS' s at all, just the OBJ's.

I think ill follow your advise Sivana and contact Daz directly, thx for your help.

I found this info at daz (see link) also I found another tutorial saying something that this UV your looking for stated  "The DAZ .exe automatically puts the new UVS in your Runtime directory in a folder named V3 UVS ... locate that folder and then click on the file called 'BlMilWom_V3_V2UVs.uvs"

I don't find any UV installer on the V3 product page at daz/ Yup I agree contact daz. But not until after the holiday.
