Subject: gremlin.bvh?

I'm attempting to use a BVH file called gremlin.bvh (which was a Zygote freebie one week) to the Zygote Gremlin, using Poser 4. I assumed it would just apply cleanly, but it generates errors regarding the "lfingers" and "rfingers" joints in the BVH file. Sure enough, there are "lfingers" and "rfingers" JOINT sections in the BVH, and there are no such group names in the Zygote gremlin. This is the first time I've attempted an animation. Is this some common gotcha in dealing with BVHs that I don't know about? I've been given to understand that BVH files often need extensive tweaking and cleanup, but I didn't expect the bones themselves to be wrong.

This is a common niggly thing with BVH files. If you want to get rid of the problem completely, just export the BVH data from within Poser as a new BVH file and then load it in again. (Not forgetting to align to the X Axis this time!) :) Hope this helps! Dave.
