I know many people prize Miki for being an Asian figure but has anyone else tried to make European characters with Miki?

Attached Link: Eugenie

The attached link takes you to what is IMO the most Euro looking Miki character I have ever seen. It is an RDNA character called Eugenie.

BTW, like your character - she looks Dutch.

Thanks. $14 :-( Looks nice... like the actress Pam Dawber or something.

mathman ( ) posted Tue, 04 July 2006 at 7:07 AM

I really like her too.

There have been quite a few excellent packages released, but it seems like Eugenie is the one that has best "Caucasianized" the eyelids, and thereby made her look genuinely European.

BTW, is that really Miki in your original image ? .... you've done a fantastic job with her :)

Posermatic's "My Miki"   looks quite european to me.

Thanks, mathman. Yeah that is Miki, also this varient.

Rebelmommy's Bunny, sold right here, was my fav Miki so far, but you definitely put Eugenie on my shopping list. Momodot, I'm very impressed with your last variant too. Not that I want you to give away all your secrets, but did you achieve that result with regular Miki morphs?

Thanks

$$$ is my probem as usual. I am not even sure about getting the RDNA Miki Morphs. Above are just magnets on the standard head aside from a morph Stahlratte gave me to clear the tear duct a bit. I need to make some morphs for the nostral wings. I tried to be analytical about the face.

Is it the cap?She looks french somehow

mathman ( ) posted Wed, 05 July 2006 at 9:12 PM

Well I thought she looked Dutch, the facial features and the blonde hair made me think this .... along with the beret which is worn throughout Western Europe.

Quote - Yeah that is Miki, also this varient.

Looks a lot like Jodie Foster!!!

Funny you posted the Foster "Flight Plan" pic.... I was in a movie theater when this huge poster was hung on the wall (last summer?), and I remember going right up close to it to study her skin details, eye reflections, and, well, mostly... to examine her nostril shadows (something I'm still trying to learn how to paint in postwork).

How's that for a Poser addict anecdote?  I mean, she's a very attractive woman, but I'm standing there just analyzing shadows on her teeth, how her lips blend into her face, stuff like that. Oh, and her nostrils.

In earlier Years when I was drawing a lot I watched People in the subway ,bus -everywhere-studying shadows silhouettes and anatomic details .they must have thought I am some kind of a psycho.
