Subject: July Monthly Challenge Eyes

This is eyes...happy eyes and part of why.  This is a lovely day!

I chose not to do macro on this one. The next will likely be a macro shot but not appropriate for this thought.     TomDArt

Thanks for the encouraging comments!   The model is without makeup and I wanted the shot to be natural as could be.  Perhaps there is a slight touch of eye shadow but that is all.   The shot is in focus as "from camera", with no in-camera sharpening done.   This allowed a slight softness to the focus of an otherwise in focus photo.

My next shot is a real challenge and will not appear unless I can manage to capture it properly! This is a nice challenge.

Thanks, Doug.  I didn't think it limited to macros...perhaps we will see some of really emotional eyes, or the "eyes are the doorway to the soul"  So many possibilities here!      Tom.

What a wonderful and sweet expression. You're right and your shot after all Macros, add another dimension to this Challenge. So many emotions and feelings looking at this beautiful lady.
