Vera, I like the mountain bike idea! I have a 4" telescope but no motordrive and camera connector. Anybody else interested or geared for taking pics of the planets?

I know we are not kids and can do the weekend pretty free style. It would be nice though to have a challenge or two testing our skills.  It is so boring to know I am the best in all categories :rolleyes:

By the way, I should check to see if Sue/Zel's things-to-bring-list has binoculars (farlookers!) included.

Oom Piet, I'm also very keen on astronomy/astral photography. I don't have a telescope at the moment because I sold my Celestron 8" Schmidtt Cassegrain. I have a 15" piece of glass that I will be hand-grinding into a mirror one of these days when I can find the 6 months it'll take to shape and correct the mirror! sigh
