Subject: VUE 5 Esprit help (Foot prints in sand)

MRX3010 ( ) posted Thu, 06 July 2006 at 9:54 PM · edited Mon, 29 April 2024 at 6:45 AM

I am creating a scene that requires foot prints in sand, asside from painting them in in post is there another way to do this, maybe a -boolean operation on the specified terain ?  Something like that?  Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

X

You could boolean them out i think. But you can paint them into the grayscale image that defines your beach terrain as well - that would be even smarter because you can control it better.

You of course can try to do that directly in the terrain editor, but that can be difficult in my eyes.

One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.

I think the painting onto the terain may work best, I'll let you kow soon.

Thanks for the help
