Guys,

I was wondering if there are commercial/shareware programs that allow conversion of V3 body textures to Posette? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.... :c)))

Cheers

I would suggest that you employ one of the new posettes or a posette remap. Several choices, such as AprilYSH's remapped posette's are designed to take V1/2 maps, as do the Netherwork's hybrids that combine posette's body with V1, V3 and Stephanie heads, and the wonderful NEAena by pitklad, which is also a V1/2 map wearer and the base for many awesome hybrids by Stahlratte all wearing V1/2 maps.

You can then take any V3 map you like, and use DAZ3D's Universal Texture Converter to make V2 versions of them. (UTC doesnt convert to posette that im aware of, but perhaps an email requesting such a feature addition would be well met!)

Hope this helps,

Logan

i second that - a remapped posette would be much better.
the problem with texture converters is that they seriously deform/stretch/blur any texture. so right away anything with tattoos, markings, freckles, etc is out. they are good for a quick conversion for a middle-distance character, but for any closeup work they are highly noticeable.

there were some very good textures available for posette in freestuff, buy staale, snowsultan, etc. why not just use one of those?
