Subject: Looking for food props for poser

dante ( ) posted Tue, 25 July 2006 at 4:51 PM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 7:43 AM

Greetings to all.

Does anyone know where I can find these? I need to do a full restaurant interior scene and need plates with food on them. Not burgers or hot dogs, but rice and steaks, colored unidentifiable stuff, roasted chicken legs and french fries.

Thanks for your time

Got a few. I'll try to find links and re-post when I get home - lasagne, Japanese food etc.

DAZ has a Food Pack with a few things you might could use. Look also in their Free Archives for Cornucopia with some veggies. I think DAZ has or had some china place settings. Cooler has some food items at 3D Commune free stuff.

I take requests if you can make up a list of exactly what you want :-) May not make them all but any that are interesting to me I would take a shot at.

Hey Mapps...first of all let me thank you personnally for the fantastic freebees you have been issuing over the years. Allways high qualitty stuff...

As for the food plate props, basically what I need is what we find in any restaurant, roasted meat, boiled potatos, schrimp and fish plates, boiled rice, french fries...and whatever else you may come up with...

And thanks for the offer...whatever you come up with I´ll be gratefull...

Cheers

Well rice is bse done as a tex and bump on a simple "mound" model that could be used for any piled item like mashed spuds, spuds can be a simple oblong sphere and map easy to make. So freebies to be sure. The fries I did in my Diner set in the market which also has Bacon & Eggs (in the review bonus gift), Hotdogs, Milkshakes, Burgers, Toast, Glasses of different types of Soda and more. Meat shripm and fish require more complex modes to look right and may not be a freebie if made by me bout it would depend on the time investement. But like I say, Rice, Spuds, mashed, quick and easy. See file below for some of the pics. "Diner_Review_Bonus"
