Subject: the .ez file format downloads

I downloaded a few files (freebies etc) that came in the .ez file format and I forget how to convert them to something useful (like a zip file) or whatever it's supposed to unpack to. Can someone remind me what to do with an .ez file? Thanks, hg guy

rename it so that it has a .zip extention.

I get that and others that have .php on the end but I just rename the files.
