Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 8:11 pm)
Just to flog a dead horse, I emailed e frontier and this is what they said: (Not that I didn't believe ya Phil) "Unfortunately there just isn't any way to keep Poser from generating PNG previews when you add items to the library. You can always go back and replace 'em- I do that all the time, using rendered images and Photoshop composites- but you can't keep Poser from writing them in the first place. Might be simpler to write an Applescript that searches through specified library folders and pulls out all the PNGs it finds, and run it periodically." Poser 4 didn't generate pngs like Poser 6 does. Wonder why...

Is there a way to keep Poser 6 from generating pngs for each file? I don't want P6 to generate pngs. I've used ThumbNailer to embed pngs in Poser files and I've chucked the pngs. I just don't want them or need them anymore. I'm running OS 10.3.9.
