Subject: Does anyone know how to contact Steve Cox of UVMapper?

Thing is, I have UVMapper Pro.

I also have a new computer, and somehow I've never made a backup of the install file for version 3.2.

So I'm stuck with 2.0 and honestly that sucks when you're used to 3.2.

I've tried emailing him at the adress on UVMappers homepage but hasn't got any reply and I REALLY NEED that update.

Alternatively, can someone send me the update? It won't be any good without the reg file anyway so there's no danger of warezing, if that's a concern. People with longterm memories will remember I won UVMapper Pro in one of Dr. Geep's contests.

Try sending him a PM here and post in the UVMapper forum.  Do you still have the e-mail with your registry key and download link?

OMG No, that's several years and several computers ago LOL
I do still have the reg key of course.

In the meantime I managed to find a 3.0h version of UVMapper, which is better than none but still not the newest.

Part of the problem is that it wasn't me who bought it (since I won it from Dr. Geep) so I've never really been made properly aware of updates. I can vaguely remember some similar troubles to get the 3.0h file :o/

OK I'll try the UVMapper forum but one should think he would at least respond to an email....

Me too, won my version from Geep. The only thing I ever won, also the only thing that was worth winning that I use almost every day.

Leave a message every where you can for him and he does finally get back to you. I go through the same thing for updates. I don't get notices about UVMapper either.

I cheat, I use the one in Wings, it's not UVMapper, but it's a little easier for me. I only have Classic..and never figured it out..

Trekkie, if you get in contact with Steve, could you let me know?  I also was one of the lucky winners of Dr. Geep's contest and never updated my UVMapperPro and have since had 2 HD crashes.  So, I have no UVMapperPro anymore, and until now had forgotten about the contest...

Sure thing. I'll try emailing him once again. The first one might have gotten lost. Or he may be on holiday, it IS that time of year after all...
