Gulp...Honestly I'm not sure if I EVEN know the right one for it...so many choices and OH so confusing. I placed it in the Poser Ready one? Is that correct? It can be dropped right into poser...provided someone knows how to do that...but like I said this is my first attempt at the "techie" side of prop making and I could be wrong.... With the nanite enhanced trigger, it certainly would bring one of the five rules of gun safety home. Keep your finger off the trigger till your going to shoot something, bubba. Liked the textures and the presentation. Although the measurements where meant to be tongue-in-cheek they seemed a bit out there. One of the underpins of Sci-Fi is 'suspending dis-belief' but physics still works. At that rate of fire, you're going to have your troopers flying around like toy balloons. ;->

bushi, of course you are assuming that this weapon was designed for HUMANS. I'm sure that there is a species out there that COULD handle this weapon just fine! :-) Leee

LOL! It's true! Since the description was in English I did assume that the weapon was of terrian origin. I should have first asked about the weight and velocity of the bullet. Even at that, at a rate of 960K rounds/second and if the round was as small as a .22, the bearer would have to be truely MASSIVE to use weapon like this one. Physics works.

Hmm, speaking of physics, the barrels rotate at 600,000 rpm's, which would make it insanely difficult to handle due to the centrifugal force generated by the barrels. They would work like a gyroscope. The rate of fire isn't important, the velocity with which the bullet leaves the barrel is! And at 960,000 thousand rounds a second, the bullets would have to travel pretty damn fast just to get out of the barrel in time to avoid hitting the previous bullet in the ass:) To put it shortly, this gun could probably prove to be humanity's only real chance of ever leaving the solar system. It would make one hell of an efficient reaction drive:) Please, don't take this the wrong way, Pan, It's a wellmade prop, but I seriously consider lowering the specs on this baby, before somebody fires it and accidentally pushes the Earth out of orbit!!! Actually, the weapon comes equiped with inertial dampeners and generates a gravity well to slow time so that each bullet can make it out of the barrel. Ya think?

Hahaha, thanks for the comments everyone! Grey - Not sure about the thumbnail..it's got the correct address to it, but I've noticed that TRIPOD'S been acting a bit fruity lately...I can see the image both at work and at home...yet sometimes on a co-workers machine I won't see the thumbnail! I've also noticed that I'm not the only TRIPODER this happens to as I've seen a few images fall to this evil thumbnail link breaking plague. I have found a work around however, if you right click and view the image...TRIPOD provides you a link and an apology for you to click on which then makes it reappear! VERY strange and definitely something they must be WELL aware of! Guess it will be time for a NEW server if this keeps up! Ookami! - Strange you should say "slow time" since the story deals with time to a certain extent! As for the troopers flying around like balloons hahaha..I could see that...these bullets are very light weight...almost air like. And I had thought of the centrifugal force. What I didn't mention was that the weapon does have a stabilizer (cross your fingers and hope they buy it pan! hehehe)contained within it's long body. Hahaha...ok the ammo is in "liquid form" and is contained within the sealed shell. When the electrical current sparks it, like an "EGG" coagulating from the heat, it produces a bullet within a sealed chamber mold...which is then fired just as instantly because of the magnetic field. Basically as stated above the bullets DO travel pretty darn fast because if they didn't they would indeed smack the previous bullet in the rump area. Now would anyone justify the army in spending 3 billion dollars on a total of 30 of them? PAN~

Oh I am sure you could find a few senators and officials in the pentagon that would be intrested. Do you have some $200 toilet seats as well?
