Subject: Advice Needed on Texturing

I am trying to create a female based on V3 with a slight greenish texture to her skin. Can someone explain how I can get started with Poser 6? I'm very new at the idea of texturing but I'd really like to try this.  -  Andrea

Materials Room. Go to the materials groups SkinHead and SkinTorso. These have a texture map plugged into the Diffuse_Color channel. First thing to try is to click on the color swatch in that channel and change it from white to a greenish off-white. In more general advice, tho; read the manual, especially read up on the section on Materials. There are a great many useful and potentially striking texture options within the editor and no simple forum post or even on-line tutorial can explore all of them.

You could use the existing v3 texture and plug in the HSV node before the image map and change the hue staturation and values there, nice effects can be had like this.

Or if you want to add a tint to the actual texture in your paint package ....

It's free and works in Photoshop and Paintshop Pro amongst other programmes.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.
