I recently purchased Jonathan Lynn's beautiful "Mars Suit for V3" from the Renderosity store. Unfortunately, the free upgrades to the product appear to be available only through Lynn's website, which has disappeared, as has his e-mail account (I hope he's okay). Thus far Renderosity has been unable to make good on this product. Do any of you artists have these files you can forward to me?

hmm...not sure what to tell you. They take a dim view of sharing of anything, except from the original creator. Good luck tho..

I understand what you mean. I'm not asking anybody to be a pirate; so far as I can determine, these files have always been freely available. I've tried repeatedly to contact Lynn to no avail, and I've advised Renderosity of the situation.

I see you have a post in the customer support forum and that Clint is helping you.

I checked and the last time that merchant  logged in here was April 30, 2006.  It's possible they don't even know that their site is off line.

I hope you get it sorted out. I know you will get a refund if you can't get the updates, so don't worry about that.  But it is annoying when you find something you like only to find out that parts are missing or unavailable or buggy.

Thank you for the info and sentiment. I've searched the Web and have located several resume postings by Lynn, but they all link back to his (now nonexistent) site and e-mail address. I would like to track these files down--I have an immediate need for them--while at the same time I hope everything is okay with Lynn.

I don't think he does much now, He did do a lot in collaboration with Moebius87, you could maybe try contacting him to see if he knows anything!

I have all three zips, the following is a readme from the M3 update, I don't see anything about sharing/not sharing!

Cr2 file of "Victoria 3 Mars Suit" to work with Michael 3's joint set-up
You need to have "Mars Suit for Victoria 3" from Renderosity's Market Place

Installation Instructions (Starting with "Runtime" folder which is inside your Poser folder)
With winzip if you extract to your Poser folder with "Use folder names" checked it will install right.
