Aluvasuddin, my poses are posing in Poser 6 with even the standard issue Don and poses.  All I get is that pesky hour glass and Poser locks up.

The problem is compounded by the fact that, since I installed SR3, there is no icon on the program list so I could uninstall it and reinstall Poser 6,

Further compounded by the oddity that my installation CD locks up when loaded and locks up the computer further allowing no repairs to the original program.

Problem reported to e-frontier. 

Any clues?

they have been saying in poser forum that one may actually need to start from ground zero (re-install XP and everything else), but perhaps completely deleting P6, then only re-installing it, will fix things. there are several threads on this in poser forum.

That's what I was afraid of, but I have to get a clean copy of P6 which I can't get from the installation disk ... I may have to buy another.

I kinda sorta am well can do without Poser for a whole hour, maybe two.  So I bought another copy and installed it.
