I have a desperate plea for everyone.  There is an ArtZone chat in about an hour and a half (8pm Rosity time).  They will be giving away 5 copies of Cararra.  I want one, but I'll be at work.

hmm..already have Carrara, but an older version. I could win it and not use it..;) I dunno..if I'm not working myself, I may stop in..but I have a lousy track record with winning things..;)

Where is art zone?

went to the chat, nothing that we didn't already know about bryce really. I didn't win Carrara, but everyone that was there got a free bryce 5, and 5.5 coupon...or something(it will show up in the participants accounts). But Dan Farr did say that they are trying to bring the coding of all thier apps closer. They mentioned moving Carraras render tech over to bryce(which was being speculated about beforehand

and Flak were wondering where you were? You did't  miss too much though, most of the stuff was about the new V4, a character blending tool, and then a rehash on what they already talked about. The free bryce 5 was a nice suprise, but I already have it so......I wonder if I can give it to somebody? But at least it was confirmed that carraras render will be ported over in versio

Yeah, this having a "job" is REALLY cutting into my Bryce time. No...seriously, lol.

Free Bryce 5?! Dang, too bad, we have a few version 4 users here that would have liked a gifted piece of software. If I had won Carrara I was just going to give it to someone.

I don't know if this chat will be in the artzone arcives, it hasn't shown up as of yet....

"a character blending tool" - explain that, please? OK, they showed a demo avi movie of it in action.Basicly they had a Mil boy walking, as he walked he "grew" into the freak model walking. Basicly, think of a shape shifter....thats what you will be able to do with all the DAZ Figs(supposedly).

I almost forgot, DAZ studio will be able to port over animated people now too...from what they said.

I always miss these things - they just don't give you enough warning.
