Bryce can only export two types of objects: Terrains/symmetrical lattices, and imported mesh models. Cubes, cones, spheres, etc. cannot be exported. To export a terrain: go to the Terrain Editor and click the Export button (right below the 2D grayscale window). To re-export a previously imported mesh, choose Edit Mesh (or the [E] button), and then hit Control-D. In general, bring your Poser figures into Bryce for rendering in-scene, not the other way around. This also requires a bit of work: details can be found in the Tutorials section on the sidebar ----->. You can also render a complete Bryce scene and then use it as a 'backdrop' image in Poser, although your poser figure will not interact with any objects in the Bryce scene (won't cast shadows, etc)
thanks. Now i know. But that kind of sucks, cause i have a chair on a porch in Bryce, need to put a man in it to add to the reallism, but i cant bring the chair into Poser to form the man correctly in the chair. Cause once i bring him into Bryce, he is an object, no more moving body parts and stuff like that. (without having to ungroup them and move the seperatly) But hey thanks Flickerstreak. Write back if you have any ideas on this.
One good way to keep you figure/props scale, Import yur chair into Poser, and pose your figure in the chair. From your prop library, create a cube and scale it up to where your figure and chair are inside the cube(hidden) then export it all as a .obj.Import it into Bryce and then select the cube and delete it. You figure will still be fixated in the chair and ready to use. Ken
