Subject: Poser import body scaling and C5pro native import?

mylemonblue ( ) posted Sat, 12 August 2006 at 1:33 AM · edited Sat, 22 February 2025 at 4:59 AM

Some times I've used Posers body scale dials to change a characters size or some of the body parts sizes. When I import them into Carrara5Pro(5.1) through it's native importer all the scaling I made in poser is lost and the character or it's parts are all back to the default scales.

The questions. Is Poser's scale dials not supported by the native importer? Is there a way to make the scale settings stick?

Ok still searching for this one. Went back to the manual agian. Morphs are talked about but nothing on scale settings. Another round of forum searches brought up zilch nota nothing. Maybe this has been asked before but heck if I can find anything. Life is like that. All the ansers are easy to find when you don't need them but when you need them...

Use Transposer instead of native importer :)

are you planning to animate or pose the poser figure in carrara after importing it there? If not, you could export the poser figure as an obj after posing it in poser and import it into carrara that way
