My Face cams for P6 work just fine.  What's going on with yours?  Can you post a screenshot so we see what's going on?

I have never had a problem with either the P5 or the P6 face camera either.
Also if you could post a screenshot of your camera settings for the face camera
for both P5 and P6.

Hi and thx for fast reply's.

The problem is that nothing happen when I try to use the facecam in P6, in P5 it works just fine.

The link looks like an X but points to two pictures (one popup nothing dangerous), the one above is from P5 and shows the way im used to access the facecam, the one below is P6.

Thank's for your time. / Jonny

P.s I forgot to mention that the dials do nothing in facecam mode (P6)

"I forgot to mention that the dials do nothing in facecam mode (P6)"

One suggestion:
Select the Face Cam from "Parameter Dials->Cameras->Face Camera" (so that it's the object being worked on), then go to Menu->Object. Make sure that "Lock Actor" isn't checked ('cos that would have the effect your describing..) If it is, then click on it to uncheck it.

(If you don't have the Parameter Dials" dialogue displayed, you can get it by going to  Menu->Windows->Parameter dials...)

Cheers,
Diolma

This is a P6 feature, you need to select a different view camera either by using the camera control widget, or by right clicking on the document window and using that context menu.

Selecting a camera on the Properties palette, allows to adjust that camera while viewing through another, e.g. the positioning the Dolly cam while using Top view.

Hi again!

Thank you very much as you solved the problem for me, I had no idea that you could rigth click and acces the camera from there, very nice feature.

Maybe I shall start to use P6 now, Ive never bothered with it much.

When I bougth Poser 5, Curious labs released Poser 6  44 days later, Lucky for me they had a 45 day policy so I got Poser 6/shader 7LE as well at no extra charge.

Those 44 days was enough for me to grow attached to P5 and Ive never felt comfy around P6.

Once again thank you all for your effort, this forum rocks.

Regards / Jonny
