Working on a picture idea I had for a friend....and I have what I want worked out in my brain...it's just getting it from there to Poser. (always the hardest part...) Basically the image is looking over a woman's shoulder, seeing her face partially reflected in the sword she's holding up.

The main sticking point is the Pose. I've tried tweeking a few I already have, but I can't get things quite where I want them. I know camera positioning is also a main part, but that's proving easier for me to do than the body...

Attached image is just a quick mock up...sword I used isn't the final one, just experimenting. Probably take me a while as I've never modeled one, and there's a specific look in mind for it...but I'm just rambling here.

Does anyone know of any good free poses with swords in front of the face? (I probably have a ton in my download archive....I just haven't wanted to dig through every single zip yet....)

I can't see why this pose should be so difficult. What I often do is strike the pose I want myself, and examine exactly how my arms reached the position they're in. This can be very helpful.

And occasionally an individual experiences a brain fart and looks for something to help nudge them in the direction they know they're looking for.

how about making the pose how ever you want and then slightly rotating the sword until it reflects what you want...if you are not showing the hands then you can rotate to your hearts content!
