Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 01 6:51 am)
You can export Bryce terrains as obj files and import them to poser.
Anything else depends on how the item was made.
Dynamic hair wont import as dynamic , it will import if you export it in poser to an obj file. and then import to Bryce.
Theres a skydome prop at www.runtimedna.com in their freestuff section.
"You can export Bryce terrains as obj files and import them to poser."
Can you also import the textures to go with the obj?
also, do you need a plugin to import a poser character into Bryce?, does it import all the parented figures & props too?, ie. hair, clothes.
I have downloaded the Bryce Free Version and was wondering if it can do these things.

These questions keep coming up again and again. For Poser to Bryce, see the attached link.
For Bryce to Poser, it's not worth the struggle. If you must render in Poser, your best bet is probably to render your Bryce background separately and composit.
Dynamic hair in Bryce - forget it. You can do it, but it looks terrible.
not easy ones. I suppose you could make a pic of the sky in Bryce, save as a jpg (about 800x800, or to taste), then UVMap the texture to an object (flat plane, for example). then import the whole thing into Poser, and try lighting it? kludgy, but possible...
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

I recently bought Bryce 5.5, and I've yet to discover a way to import dynamic hair from Poser 6 into Bryce or DAZStudio. I've accepted that this probably can't be done, and in my search for good tutorials, I've seen a lot about bringing Poser content into Bryce, but not so much going the other way. I'm wondering if there's some way of making full use of Poser 6's features while still being able to use Bryce scenes, perhaps by exporting from Bryce and rendering the scene in Poser ( I prefer Poser for renedring anyways). If anyone can direct me to some tutorials about how to import Bryce content into Poser, I'd much appreciate it ( especially anything that could help me with making sky domes).
Thanks
