Subject: Any way to transfer material zones?

I was working with the Hexagon to tweak an already existing object and I ended losing all the material zones info in the process.  Since I still have the original object with all the material zones, is there any way I can transfer those zones to a tweaked object?

I instead tried to load the tweaked object as an morphed target, but for some reason it's not letting me go this route (even though I didn't add or delete any vertices).  And some material zones are really complicated to select them manually so I don't think I can get get all the polygons by this way.

Is there a way I can open the object in a text format and copy the zones?  Or how about any programs that can handle this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It may not work, depending what sort of tweaking you did: but try importing UVS in UVMapper. Open your tweaked OBJ in UVMapper, then import UVS - select the previous OBJ when asked.

For whatever reason the new object seems to have different vertices than the original.  I've only used Tweak feature in Hexagon to move the vertices around, but didn't add or delete any.  I just ended up reimporting the original back into the hexagon and redid the tweaking.  Thanks for the tip btw, I wasn't sure if the uvmapper could do this.  It'll definitely come in handy when I need to move the material zones.
