After you register the CNET version with your DAZ account, don't forget to eventually also check your "Available Downloads" to see if you have a download waiting. It should be ~ 90MB.

You might think it's the same thing you already have but it's not. It's the full COREL Bryce v5 program, the 5.01 update, the content all in one nice package. More importantly, unlike the CNET version it won't require "Online Activation" everytime it's installed. Instead, it'll just take the serial number alone which you can also find in your DAZ Account under "Available Serial Codes".

You can then decide when version you'd like to keep / archive / uninstall at your leisure.

Not the same?  does that mean that even though I have Bryce5.5c - I should still get the Daz free version of Bryce5 while I can?

Nah, not unless you want to, imho.

I am having problems downloading..I either get an error message saying B5 Aoxim dll (althought it is in the zip) missing or another one, I forget...is anyone else having problems downloading it?

Any suggestions on extracting it..maybe Im doing it wrong..I have been hitting the bryce 5 exe

Yup, the "B5Axiom.dll" should be in your main "Bryce 5" folder. Is it?

Perhaps your B5Axiom.dll is corrupted? I have the retail Corel 5.0 version, but for comparisons sake, mine shows up as 964Kb. Worth a shot, lol.

I got so mad I deleted it again.  Do you have to run daz studio with it, or does it run by itself?

The download.com file has no help file no installer. The DAZ file has an installer and a help file. The help does not work for me in the Bryce application so I created a shortcut to the frames file in the C://Program Files/DAZ/Bryce5/Help/wwhelp/js/html/frames.html and that works fine after an activex control is allowed.

yow..I just downloaded both files, and installed it. I stand humbly before your superior wisdom..;) actually, pretty good work there. Now if I can just get Content Paradise to let me download Poser 5, I'll be a happy man..;)
