I noticed some days ago

that twopynts became the coord job now...

which is very nice to know.....

I was really happy to see his name...instead "nobody"

*So I was wondering why there is no "*announcement" made by Danob or Bruce....

so I thought I would do it...

Maybe that I miss a thread about this.....not sure......but better twice....then forgotten.....hopefully we have a good team now.....

So 2 Moderators and one Coord that must be a good team.....

O thanks Jim....I am happy you find it strange too. When Danob became his Moderator job there was an "announcement" what's the difference then......?? So that's why I post this thread....lol.....

I saw his name already for at least 5 days on top !!!!

Congrats Kort.:thumbupboth: I think the reason why there was no announcement is because Kort is very humble. That or because he wanted us to find out on our own. :sneaky:

Ok....I was going to announce it...once Kort has been trained...Right now he not been trained, so he's not officially a coord..It's a matter of getting our schedules to match..

Yes his name is there..that came when he was given access to the coord forum..because we need that for traing purposes..

Of course I would have announced this if we had completed the training process..

Shouldnt the announcement come when Kort is fully trained then?...surely!...seems a bit sad when other members 'announce  it'....trained or otherwise!....kinda seems the anticipation is over!

Hummm.. I agree with you Ilona.. And if i remember very well, that i knew about Kort from Andreas or Valoue' in one of their posts! like 3-4 days ago tho!

So i congratulated Kort on Andreas post, then went to search the forms but there was nothing! I mean no announcements! The first thing came to my mind that becasue of the comming holidays here! And there might be no one available to edit it or correct that if he was promoted!

But then again i know that admins can do anything from any part of the world! So i don't know..

Well Bruce here said that he was going to announce the promotion after Kort finish his training, that is fine and well done.. But now the qustion is how come others know from the outside if he's still undertraining.. To me that is fine tho! But for someothers it is not, and i totally understand and feel Ilona and the others.

So, as far as everyone is concerned, Kort is a coord!

Trained and accepted!

Hope it doesnt happen again, as it does say...Coordinators...which means to me, more than one!

Here's the exact story...

In order for either Dan or myself to train a coord...they must have access to the Coord forum.
It appears that when they are given access...their name appears in the forum they will be work in.

When Dan was promoted, his name appeared before it was official.
Once it was official..(after his training)  It was announced.

For the benefit of those not in the States..this is a long holiday weekend here.
Kort is spending time with his family..as he shoud be... It's not like I'm going to give him a hard time about this...Therefore the two of us have not been able to set up an exact time for his training..

I aplogise for the misunderstanding..Things just happened that way...No one was trying to hide anything or keep anything from you folks..

I don't work that way..With all of that being said...

Yes I'm very happy to have Kort working with us. I think he will be a very good asset to the team..

As to Jim's questions about Coordinators being plural..Right now...now there isn't another Coord..  Yes..I would like to add  another coord or two to the team.

If you look at ANY forum here..it's plural..
