How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

We just had a massive thunderstorm, the temperture dropped a degree a minute, we went from 85F to 65F just like that!I know they get really big hail back east and in the mid-west, but us Californians are just not used to this.....
