Put your cursor to the top of the screen for 2 seconds, the top menu bar will appear. Click on "File".

The simplest tutorials I know - written for Bryce 4 but still very useful - and then you will feel up to more difficult ones :)
Should only take about half an hour for each tutorial

Here's a link to Susan Kitchen's book "Real World Bryce" which is still hands down the greatest book on Bryce out there. Written for 4.0, but works just fine with 5.0 and 5.5.It's come down a lot in price, and since the program is free, you really can't go wrong.
Could be worse, could be raining.
I think I've seen you over at the Poser forum. If you export from Poser into Bryce, you'll run into the 'opaque eyeball' problem. There's tuts for that. Heck, I usually make the background in Bryce and import that into Poser, but that's me..;)

You might want to look into the Bryce for Beginners clas at www.lvsonline.com.
This 6 weeks class has started, but there will be a new one in 5 weeks. At the moment we're more than 30 new brycers in class, and it's fun! :)

I've had a frustrating time with the Bryce UI, with such irritations as the hidden Windows menu-bar -- "Where's the icon to save a file, dammit!" And, to be honest, despite working with graphics, I struggle with new symbolism. Maybe there are other people like me. I know I'd appreciate some sort of tutorial which would help me get over the initial weirdness. As it is, there's something needlessly intimidating about a progam which even hides its own menu bar. Any recommendations?
