NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition!  Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our four...no... Amongst our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.

... the Larch.  The Larch?

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

Already have one big gripe, doesn't show what a tool is with a rollover button or in the status window so you don't know which tool is which.

Marque ( ) posted Thu, 07 September 2006 at 2:03 PM

Actually it looks like it might be pretty cool if I can figure it out. Have class tonight so need to deal with that project, this will have to wait a bit.

You mean you've got hold of a copy! did you buy yours at EF or CP

I bought a copy over 3 hours ago and havn't been able to download it from CP. I'm having a break until my downloads are reset.

It's not new.  It's just new to e-frontier.

This program used to be called MoHo.

Here is a review of MoHo back from March.

Most pro's like ToonBoon Pro better.

Marque ( ) posted Thu, 07 September 2006 at 5:05 PM

Got it at efrontier. How much does toonboon pro run?

nghayward ( ) posted Thu, 07 September 2006 at 5:40 PM

I should have gone to EF. I went to CP 'cos II'd get Passport Member Rewards for it. But all this P5 Freebie downloadings cloged it up proper. Over 5 hours of trying to download and nothing to show for it. After spending 149$ I expect more. I'm very tempted to ask for a refund. It's late here I'll see what the morning brings.

Toon Boom standard is $399  Toon Boom Solo is $2,999.

Solo is for studio houses.  It's all the bells and whistles and used on Anime, TV, Film etc.

Toon Boom Express is the lite version of Studio and it's $99.
