I have done it all...installed DS, pointed it to my Poser SIX content, set up a scene with people in P6, saved the pz3, and then TRIED to open in DS, in preparation of exporting to Bryce (the ONLY REASON I would use DS, and it did work fine with poser FIVE).... but now, DS just keeps asking for the obj's for every item in my scene. I have asked over and over in the DS forum at DAZ for help and folks there say they can't figure out why it is not working. I can't help but wonder if there is a glitch with P6 because P6 is so different... and NO my figures, clothes etc are not OBZ files because the ones I want to use all came from my Poser 5.

All my content rests native in P6 only, with NO multiple runtimes....SO...has anyone had this problem and has anyone found a solution? I do have an OLD copy of DS that did WORK with P5 and Bryce....and I also tried the lastest DS versions.... I am not using Bryce because I can't get PEOPLE into it... of course I can export out of poser the old fashioned way when there is one figure and one map...but it's the complex humans dressed that I would like to take into Bryce.

I will post this over in the Poser forum too, in hopes someone has figured it out...and if anyone has could you please tell my dyslexic brain how in a 1-2-3 how to? Thanks!!

Are you using compressed files in Poser 6? If so, try uncompressing them and then see if DS can find them.

Have you tried the" Search" function in the D|S Prefs, under the Directories tab? Oh and is P6 listed when you select the Poser Content Directories (from the popup)? Never seen anything quite like what you have but I have had Content directories get completly "lost" and the Search function has always brought them back. Probably not the problem but I thought I'd mention it. Good Luck; Dan

YES to both...I NEVER compress files...and have helped DS soooo many times...and yes... it was there as "selected" in the directeries... it just seems to be poser SIX and DS... but thanks for the ideas... it was the same questions and my replies in the DAZ DS forum....and now in the Poser forum here as well... about folks giving up on using Bryce... oh well... sigh. Can't go back to P5 just for DS to talk to poser well...
