My first attempt at IBL when I got Poser 6.  Liked it enough to make it my background.

heh, I must admit that I was a bit embarrassed about the number of  icons I had on my desktop, so I moved 5 or 6 of them to My Documents folder,  LOL  But now seeing what some desktops look like, I'm no longer embarrassed,  hehe

Here is another I use. It's an image by Yamato.  I asked his permission to use it on my desktop and he graciously gave me permission.  It's a stunning image.  The link is to a full size image in his gallery.

I like to have everything within easy reach. I hate going into the start menu looking for things.

And I really couldn't live without the Quick-start toolbar.

It's interesting to see what everyone else has on theirs.

I've used this for ages.  Tried others, but came back to this one

because it helps to separate items into groups, and because I like it.

I like to have as few icons as possible on the desktop - I keep them in a folder where I can put them in sub-folders by category.

I also change the wallpaper only about twice a year.

This is what the screen looks like right now.

I like aircrafts, specially Aircraft carriers that carry em. Been working on a project (Aircraft Carrier) for poser which was a purchased product (3ds format). I converted and changed a few things. This wallpaper helped me on the project, and what is interesting about this Wallpaper, I amazed at seeing the rust on the ships. Used this wallpaper for over a couple months. For some apparent reason I am to lazy to change when in fact it is only a few clicks or, I do not have a good selection that I have to make my own. So much to see in this Wallpaper. I had to lower quality to put up in here.

I'm going to have to get a magnifying glass--I've been trying to figure out everyone's icons. Fascinating, and inspiring for my next software purchase to see what eveyone else relies on :tongue1:

My desktop would be a lot messier if I didn't have my extra toolbars - MS Office on the left and the extra one I made that pops down from the top
