If money is tight, then make do with what you've already got. A file full of numbers is hardly worth depriving your children of a warm coat this comming winter. As you've said, you've already got Aiko and Miki, so what more do you need.
This is my own personal opinion, for whatever it's worth.

Here's another "Have her, don't use her..."
If you're looking for something cartoony and different, try MDP's F-202. She's free, has beautiful procedural shaders that look fantastic in Poser 5, and she's very low poly, leaving more room for you to add props, higher mesh clothes, whatever.
The downside is, she doesn't have much support. Dynamic cloth still works, of course, and any modelled hair (vs. transmapped) looks great on her once it's refit.
If you're OK with spending money, Anime Doll is a nice option. Not only can she use Maya Doll's clothes, it's possible to find an Anime Doll / Aiko hybrid, which kind of gives you the best of both (great looking cartoon character with great support and freebie clothes).
I use her frequently. That is because I do a lot of stuff for college students and her style and body type bear a frightening resemblance to coeds at a certain southwestern university. She's perfect for that audience.
I don't get the gripes about support though. She has a full wardrobe: evening gowns, dresses, jeans, a body suit, hats, the obligatory bikini . . . and there are so many free hair fits for her that I can't afford all the hair she could use. Then again, I never quite understood buying fifteen nearly identical slip dresses for Miz Vicki, either. So you may want to keep that in mind before listening to my advice!

As I'm currently expanding and extending my runtime (sigh) I've been looking at Staci and wondering if she is worth getting. There seems very little support for her, and some of the packs over at Daz make me hesitate because of their cost (as an Aiko & Miki addict, $ are tight already).
So, what is she like to work with?
What textures does she take?
Any thoughts?
Anyone?
TIA,
Martin
