Thanks to the early morning work of NegentropicMan and other Renderosity staff, the site is now running on a shiny new and much more powerful server that should carry us for a while. We're still working on a few odds-n-ends such as transferring artist sites, but it's mostly good. Perhaps NegentropMan will give us a run-down from a hardware & connectivity standpoint, what powers the Renderosity community on a daily basis.

I'll post an article on the front page with the significant details once I catch my breath. Many thanks to rcook and tim for all of the help here. The artist sites are almost done, then, I'm gonna go trolling the galleries to see what is up with the missing images.

We're working on it. The galleries will be back up soon.

The new server is nice and fast. Thanks for the upgrade. I can't wait for a weekday, when there are a few hundred more people online, to give it a real test. Hopefully, the gallery glitch is an easy fix.

Yeah, it is. We've just gotta get the files copied into the right place. Just remember, we're not talking about a couple of meg's of pics. :)

Well, the galleries are back to normal. And I can't find not one bug. So, if you happen to find one, just post it to this thread and we'll squish 'em. Thanks for your patience.
