Subject: Can't Upload to Gallery

AdamWright ( ) posted Mon, 18 September 2006 at 8:06 AM · edited Sun, 28 July 2024 at 6:31 PM

....I'm getting the "You have reached the maximum images you can upload in one day" message, even though I haven't uploaded anything today!?!?!?

Can this be reset please?

Thanks

Adam

Did you by any chance try and upload anything and hit preview?

Yes, I did.  I always preview before finally hitting the button to send it to the gallery.

If you upload an image by hitting “preview” and then don’t finish by hitting “save” or “abort”, that image just kinda floats out there taking up server space. So, that counts toward your one per day. Abandoned pending images get purged every night at 2 a.m.
system time.

Thats the problem then..if you preview and dont hit save, it just kind of floats around out there and takes up space....if you upload, and save, and then decide you dont like it, you can delete it and that will not count towards your 1 image upload quota for the day. 😉

ACK!! Stac ya did it again...sneekin up on me LMAO!! {and spooky...almost word for word

I lost my net connection before I could save it to the gallery.

Bah! I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Thanks for your help, jumpstartme and Stacey.

i reakon it's best to not preview it Adam!! just upload it, then when it is uploaded,  if you need to change anything, edit after the upload. if you are on IE7(beta) and go to do a second edit, remember to "refresh" the edit page aswell, that way it doesn't take 12 edits like meeeeeee!!!
