Not sure of the name , but could this be on of those rythym instruments that has ball bearings travelling around a race on a cylinder. I think it's called a Cabasa?
Once
in a while I look around,
I see
a sound
and
try to write it down
Sometimes
they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
I wouldn't even had known what it was if you had showed me the full photograph
And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

Thanx Valou...
Seems musical stuff is too easy...LOL..must be a lot of us[musicians] moonlighting in Photography and 3D graphics. Will try and find a more difficult shot than my last W.O.E. .
That milkweed I posted as my last one was unique to me as I had never seen one in real life but I have now to factor in the wider experience of those competing. Will have one in a few days...rainy here and i want to go on a ramble to find something common and obscure at the same time.....

I agree with ReBorne, and would also like to defer my W.O.E. for a bit as I'm totally tied up with my music and have barely enough time to do my Mod stuff..not complaining, I like doing it, Any way, does some one want to pick up my ball and giv' er a toss as I just won't have time for at least 2 weeks... I'll have to assume some one will as I may not even have time to read non work stuff tween supper and rehersal which is my free time now. Catch y'all on the flip side...

Cabasa is the correct name for the item in question

Anyone's chance here as I have too full a slate to do much more than read and answer stuff before I gotta leave again for rehersals or recording...when it rains it pours in my life and it's raining[reigning] music lately...
