Subject: Oriental male texture?

Has anyone seen an oriental male texture?I did a serach but most people name the textures ad not just make them types (Bob instead of suburban dad texture or whatever) Preferably for Michael but any would do really ... thanks

I don't have any for Michael. Most people doing asiatics create morphs as well as colormaps and so upload pz3 or cr2 files for complete characters. One is called Danny, and may be a self-portrait of KrzyAce. I think I got the others at Bushi's or TwoSword's site, but forget the character names (Taro? Tagukasu?). Rubio and Toshi are collaborating nicely, with Kozaburo's hair. Also, Rena and Steve did a Manchu Emperor, with lots of clothes, but I have no idea if they are available currently... you can ask her. Hmmm ... wouldn't be on my site. I haven't made any textures for standard Poser figures just my home-grown ones.

I have one in the works, but it is no where near complete.

Two Swords Site http://homepage1.nifty.com/Two-sword/index.htm Digital Babes http://www.vowel.or.jp/~kozaburo/ PoserFactory http://www.interq.or.jp/red/pandt21/ I cant remember which one had it... but the Taro figure and the C0 series came with outstanding textures/morphs.... and the sites are well worth visiting anyways... And all have links to other sites as well... I think the one's I got a while ago were P4 males.... Good luck! Cheers

Tagosaku-401 is available on the Digital Babes site. Link in right hand column at bottom of page.

Yeah ... I do morphs as well .. Just hoping to get a texture map to help it S Didn't know about the Danny one ... And I sort of spaced on the Taro and Tagosaku figures ... thanks for reminding me S

Well, it looks like you have plenty of leads and links to several very good sites. Even if you make your own texture maps for your specific character, it might help to see how the others were shaded. Have fun! Carolly

I have one texture that I did for the Harry Kim character off of Voyager. Would you want that one? Dave

Think I have what I need .. thanks! Now if I can just find a yakuza style full body tattoo Laughs

Dave ( ) posted Mon, 23 April 2001 at 7:49 AM

Yakuza? What is that? I was thinking of adding tattoos to some of my p4 male texture packs. Dave

Ghostofmacbeth ( ) posted Mon, 23 April 2001 at 9:39 AM

Well they are the Japanese mafia ... They have sort of full body or mostly full body tattoos of twisting dragons and stuff. Typically arms and the sidesof the torso and the back at least. They are really quite gorgeous if well done with almost no area untouched by the needle, at least on the arms and all.
