Subject: Auto-switching to color-picker?

😕

Hi all, something strange is happening to my Photoshop 7.

I used to double click on the "foreground/background" color icon, just in the bottom of the left tool palette.. this used to bring up a bigger window where I could change colours by dragging RGB, CMYK (etc) sliders..

Now when I double click on the "foreground/background" color icon, the color picker comes up automatically. I can't even change to other tools unless I press the ESC key..

...wonder what is happening, any help would be appreciated, thanks! :)

UPDATE:

I just realised that this behaviour is correct: when the "foreground/background" color icon is clicked, the color-picker is supposed to come up.. the problem is that the colour window doesnt' show up. I have tried a "reset palette position" and a Photoshop restart didn't work.

Any time you have a window open like Color Picker you can't do anything else without closing window first.

The Color palette (on right side) has sliders. Window > Color.

Dreamer101, this is true... but this problem is too annoying, I just resinstalled Photoshop.

That's "The cure" !  :m_cigar:
