Hi, I've recently bought Poser with the mind to making 3D animations over live-action footage. It seems like a really great program... but... when I try to Import a Background Video into the Preview window (eg. a Quicktime) it can't be seen properly. I know it's there because you see parts of it through some tiny slits in the screen but mostly you just see the normal grey background. The same thing happens when I try to Import a Background Picture too. Attached is a JPEG that shows what I get. Would really LOVE some help on this one. Dying to work with video footage in Poser background. Thanks in advance, ALEX hybrid@bigpond.net.au

The video will appear in the render but not in the preview.

I had this problem when I started to use Poser on my new Mac I solved the problem by going to Display - Preview Drawing and changing the setting from Open GL to Sreed Softeware. Hope this works for you. Raymond

Hi, Thanks for your replies. Tech support also suggested the Display > Preview Drawing > SreeD Software option. And it works! Happy now. Your advice (and time) is much appreciated. Regards, ALEX hybrid@bigpond.net.au
