The last two days eveytiume i upload an image(nothing sexual) i have lady pics uploaded right after me!!!!  Damn i can't compete with sexy ladies!!!!  :)  CURSES!!!!!!  :)

It's done on purpose. They're trying to get rid of the non-sexual and non-sensual images around here. It's a conspiracy, get used to it. If you really value your images, don't post here.

Try to render a nude V3 in a temple. It's an original subject and surely no one has seen something like that before!  :tt2:

Dont get me started :) i do nudes too n have no problem with it, but it does annoy me when I do a non nude n get a fraction of the interest.  I did one early this week, non nude n i think it's one of my best, but hardly anyone wants to look :(

Actually, some have gotten in trouble for that, as its a deceptive practice...and if the tags are used wrong {tagged when there is no nudity, and not tagged when there is} then the whole advisory system becomes useless

You could start a secret society and have each member vow to visit all the other member's newly uploaded work after being warned by an e-mail or a pm. And then exclude all nudity, violence, cats 'n' dogs, nationalism,...you name it.

I don't like the idea of misusing the tag system though. Except for excluding the people who checked the n/v tags from viewing your work.

But do you really want views from the section of the gallery visitors who are just looking for naked flesh?

I'd rather have 5 people visit the image and appreciate it (or at least view it with an open mind, even if they don't like it) than 50 who just open it and move on looking for "TEH SEXX0R LAYDEEZ!1!!!"

I'm still waiting for a tag that'll allow me to view ONLY the nudes.  I prefer the nudes, so why must I be discriminated against, while those who dislike nudes are caterd to with their own personal anti-nude control  option?   If i want to see fully clothed people, I go walk through a  Hassidic neighborhood.

Look at almost anyone's gallery, and you'll see that the image with the most views is hardly ever the one with the most comments. Some time ago I compiled some statistics on my gallery views, and I found one of the most telling results was "views per comment" - i.e. for each image, divide the number of views by the number of comments. Yeah, I know, I should get a life instead. :rolleyes: The image of mine which has the worst views per comment is of V3 with no clothes on (don't look, DPH, it's all covered up by her pose). I don't believe that's a coincidence. My most viewed image is, surprise, a pin-up; but my most commented image is the one I'm most proud of. So it goes. richke, you can't avoid the nudes, and you can't beat them (it's against the TOS :laugh:) - but you don't have to join them either. Just do what you believe in. The people who do look will make it worth your while.

I don't mind the nudes...actually i like the pinup ones alot.  Something about making a fake, graphic women look as attractive as the real thing...if not better at times...it's amazing...  Just sucks when i display a non nude just before it...there is no contest...But i'm happy i get any veiws let alone 40 per image...so it's all good.

Well, I was actually thinking more on the lines of collecting data. 2 identical renders, by the same artist--one marked nudity and one not. Remove all the variable except for that flag and see if that one thing is the deciding factor. 

Or, alternatively, same render by 2 different artists. Would it make a major difference?

As far as my stuff goes, my friends see it and that's all that matters.

They could probably code a Comments per View thing and display it with the images. Then you'ld need a running graph of views per day, views by bust size... Why shouldn't art be as statistics obsessed as baseball?
