Subject: Searching for Vancouver things

I am from Italy... but I love Vancouver, even if I have never visited the city (yet). As you know, my novels, and the renders in my gallery inspired by them, are set in Vancouver.

So this is not the usual search for a specific object or prop... but a more general request. I am searching for EVERYTHING that could be Vancouver-related to be placed in a Poser scene.

Examples? Specific buildings, landmarks, logos, streets, background images, and so on. Even not specifically built with this purpose, but adaptable. For example, if you are from Vancouver and surfing through Poser-things you have seen a model that remembers something of your city, that's fine too.

Have I won something with the Strangest Request of The Forum?  ^_^

They've got a science museum there that's like a geodesic sphere. Could be a do-able modelling job ...

Thanks! I'll retrieve some pictures of it. Someone knows of something else?

If you want to do a scene showing the skyline of downtown Vancouver in daytime, there's one thing that really sticks out for Vancouver.

It's green.

Most of the newer residential highrises (and even some of the commercial ones) have tinted windows that reflect green on the outside.  It's not bright green or anything (and at night you don't see it, of course) but in daylight it's very noticeable.

Thanks, Keith! This is a really useful information, for my renders and for my novels too!
