Dynamic clothes need the posing in the cloth room...
Its does not conform like conforming cloths ..thats why its not called conforming clothes but dynamic clothes...

yeah thats the way to do it..
On frame 1 the figure is in basic position and when you make the pose you like on frame 30.
The "shirt" will do a dynamic drape and pose on the figure so at frame 30 its in the position you want..
You need to do a simulation for this kind of clothes...
it usualy never fits at frame 1 because the cloth prop is normaly in the "basic" position.
But when you get that its fine on frame 5 then thats ok too .. you dont need to run a 30 frame sim.

No why whould you do that .. you dont have to work in frame 0 in poser ...
When you have the pose you like and your cloth is fine in frame 10 ..you can stay in frame 10..
And when you render you will only render frame 10 that will be the same as rendering frame 0 or 99 or 1 ....
So leave the frames as they are and work in the frame that has the best fitting for you and ad what ever you want etce etc etc..

don't worry about it Rob!! what you end up learning as a result is still frame render and animation at the same time, also to do obscure things like half remove the cloth, you will have to do some strange in between poses to throw the cloth off the shoulder for example. like bar-code said don't delete the other frames, just render the frame you want or liked best!!!
remember also that all obj and 3ds files can also be turned into dynamic material, want to recreate a Dali, make a dynamic clock and drape it over a tree!!! the dynamics cloth room is a great room with tons of stuff you can make with it!! just takes a bit of time to learn to use it!! but is great fun too.
Quote - No, it's a Noobies Vicky In A Tussle With A Skirt question :). If I use a dynamic clothing prop how do I set it up to conform without doing an animation? I can get it to conform after a few frames following the Poser 5 clothing room help, but the first few frames have legs sticking out all over the place. What about if I only want a single still frame?
PhilC has just released his obj2cr2 utility that is supossed to do what you ask.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
