Subject: how to get real obj from vic models?

elenorcoli ( ) posted Sat, 30 September 2006 at 9:06 PM · edited Mon, 02 December 2024 at 3:58 AM

i noticed as i worked on a morph (using the method vk mentioned a few weeks ago), that after zeroing out v3 and exporting obj, that once the morph was made and reimported to v3, that the morph works perfectly at 1, but moves not just the piece worked on but the entire body part beyond 1.  so i exported just the head, all zeros again, reimported just the head as a morph, turned the dial, and the head changed.  this should not be happening...all is in zero, this should not move anything, right?  so what i am suspecting is, i had heard something about going directly to the original obj file.  but all v's have is the rsr, right?  so how to extract the original obj from rsr?  am i anywhere near the right place here?
danke

You should have an object as well as the rsr for v3 even if you are using poser 4.

The object file is in geometries:daz people and is called blMilWom_v3.obj
