Subject: *NEW* Sandisk 12 & 16 GB CF cards

Note they are Extreme III NOT extreme IV. What do you think? Are these going to gain market hype and sell? Or will people wait for something more secure. p.s. I couldn't find a press page on Sandisks website, so I had to post from DPReview instead.

Huge storage. Could be at a high price though.

Like any new tech, it may take a while to catch on (and for cameras to be able to use them) but it looks like it will be useful, espcially for the applications they describe and for newer, higher MB cams.

Man, that is huge. I think mine was 8MB. My first computer (Commoder VIC20) didn't even have one.
