Poser Python Scripting F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 05 6:41 am)
It's on the TODO list. I've christened the script "ScriptInstaller". Intended functionality: manipulation of not only mainbuttons.py, but all the subfolders too, ability to add/remove existing scripts to the different palettes and ability to create new palettes. Not too tough, actually. But I might have to write it as a standalone app, the P6 dialogs and Tkinter are severely limited when it comes to drag-and-drop functionality.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

While we're waiting for "ScriptInstaller" ;) there's a program in the marketplace that does what you want, check out the link :DWindows 7 64Bit

Aw, shucks. I'm not sure how kosher it would be to write a competing app and provide it as freestuff.

The Python Library is really helpful, when you're working with lot's of scripts.
It's just drag and drop your scripts into empty slots.
You can rearrange your folder structure, create new subfolders almost like working in windows explorer.
I wouldn't wan to miss it.

Is there a script I can run that will Open a Browse dialog, to let me pick wich scripts I want Poser to load into the Pythons Palette at launch? I always get editing the mainbuttons.py by hand wrong, and I often want to change wich scripts Poser starts with. = )
