Subject: More Ecosystems?

Hi,

Does anyone know where you can get more ecosystems? Either paid or free? I tried Cornucopia and nothing really their.

I am primarly looking for a good rocks and lava(non animated) ecosystem.

If anyone knows where I can get something like that I would be really pleased to hear about it.

Thanks All :)

Jon

I don't know of any ecisystem that looks like you want. Why don't you do it yourself?

Have no idea where to start with ecosystems, I am on a bit of a deadline too, I don't have time to produce a good result and learn how to do it at the same time.

I will get around to it, but you dont get many ecosystems with Vue anyway, just wondered if thier were more out their, even to purchase.

Thanks
Jon

Well, in the ecosystem folder, there are a few ecos with rocks, don't forget you can always chage the rock material from the material tab of the world browser.

Hi,

Thanks Bruno, yeah I noticed them, basically what I am trying to do is a scene with distant mountains with lava flowing down them but I just  can get the effect right.

I tried the lava landscape material that comes with Vue 5 and that was not very good, It seemed to have lava at the bottom and nothing at the top, playing with the settings I could get lava nearer the top but it still didn't look right, I think it was flat landscapes.

Guess I will keep trying and hoping something works :)

Cheers
Jon

Try Monsoon's Ecowear stuff over at 3Dcommune.  Really nice stuff!  I love the deep sea eco - it is my favorite.  I have most of Monsoon's items.  They are all easy to use and well documented.
